Details

The Nurseries is a sophisticated and comfortable property that has been designed to be cool and refreshing in the summer months and cosy and warm in the winter. There’s careful attention to detail throughout, with wooden plank doors sporting Suffolk forged iron handles and concrete tiled floors in the main living space along with contemporary Danish style furniture.

The open-plan main living area has a light and airy feel, thanks to a high vaulted ceiling with oak beams and three large roof lights that let light flood in. There are also grand concrete lights that make a statement, complemented with comfortable Fritz Hansen furniture.

The modern kitchen is well equipped, and a separate dining room has a feature window that looks out onto the angular landscaped garden beyond. Most rooms have underfloor heating, and a wood burning stove provides some extra warmth and cosiness for the colder months.

Shrimpers, a chic pink beach hut at Old Hunstanton can be booked by guests as an optional extra. Old Hunstanton beach is the perfect mix of beautiful sand, shallow water to play when the tide’s out and wonderful swimming water when the tide is in. The views are also magnificent. There are facilities nearby, and you can walk for miles either way along the beach to explore Holme Dunes nature reserve or the charming Victorian beach resort of Hunstanton and all the amusements and activities it has to offer for all the family.

Although this is a single storey property there are different levels and steps between some of the rooms (two steps down in both bathrooms, two steps in twin bedroom and utility room, two steps dining room to the sitting room).
