This charming, semi-detached 17th century cottage sits within the curtilage of Clifton Maybank House. The cottage has been sensitively renovated, incorporating many original character features with bright, modern décor resulting in a wonderful cottage for six guests. The adjoining two bedroom property, Brew House Cottage, is also available to book, an ideal option for larger groups or two families holidaying together.
The property features a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, 55" Smart TV, large sofas and cosy reading nooks either side of a chimney. The well-equipped dual aspect kitchen has a large dining table which can seat 10 people. The first floor comprises three bedrooms: one super-king with its own en-suite bathroom, and two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and both bathrooms are well appointed, including over-bath, high-pressure rain showers.
To the front of the cottage is a lawned garden with a picnic bench and barbecue. Guests have the opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds with walks across the fields to the nearby river, bookable access to a tennis court and are within easy reach of Sherborne, Yeovil and surrounding villages.
For larger groups, Brew House Cottage (sleeps four guests) is located next door.
