Rose Cottage is idyllic romantic retreat set within the grounds of Gonwin Manor. Ideal for couples looking for a short weekend escape in the heart of west Cornwall or longer stays to explore the wider Cornwall coast. From the cottage you are within easy walking distance to the stunning dog friendly beach of Porthkidney beach and only a short drive to St Ives with its plethora of independent shops, restaurants, beaches and the beautiful Carbis Bay.
Inside this beautiful single-storey barn conversion, you are greeted with a generous open-plan living area with vaulted ceilings, contemporary wood burning stove and a round dining table, perfect for a romantic supper prepared in the bespoke Shaker style kitchen with granite work tops and high spec appliances. From the bedroom you can enjoy cosy mornings in, with views across the Cornish countryside.
Outside, the pretty courtyard garden planted with tropical trees and shrubs, garden furniture and a barbecue, is ideal for al-fresco dining. Be sure to take a picnic down to the lake within the grounds of Gonwin Manor and enjoy the panoramic sea views, a pontoon and sun beds await for the perfect end to a busy day exploring wonderful Cornwall.
Rose Cottage is one of six beautiful barn conversions available to book at Gonwin Manor. For larger groups and family gatherings, choose between Poppy Cottage, Heather Cottage, Lavender Cottage, Bluebell Cottage and Sunflower Cottage.
