Capture far-reaching views across rural landscape towards Bulbarrow and The Blackmore Vale. Bracken, constructed in 2020, is one of three unique, detached eco retreats on this beautiful site situated on a working farm. The property has been furnished to a high standard and enjoys the added bonus of a luxurious Scandinavian wood fired hot tub.

With a light and spacious, open-plan living space including a well-equipped and modern kitchen, cosy sitting area and dining space for all guests. Throughout the all-ground floor accommodation, enjoy the warmth of the eco-friendly under-floor heating provided by the ground source heat pump. For those chillier evenings, snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove. There are three inviting bedrooms, two with king-size beds, and a twin room. Each bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room, making this the ideal retreat for family and friends.

With the Wessex Ridgeway on your doorstep, walking opportunities are endless. If you feel inclined, wander into the village of Ansty via a quiet lane and across a bridleway, where you will find a charming farm shop, post office and good local pub. Ansty can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot, or just 3 minutes by car.

Bracken’s neighbours Fern (sleeping six guests) and Bramble (sleeping four guests) are also available to book, subject to availability. All three properties can be booked as a combination in Dorset Eco Retreats, subject to availability.

A barbecue with initial supply of a small charcoal pack is provided. Please leave the barbecue in the condition you would wish to find it. Thank you in advance.

You will have use of your own private wood fired hot tub with initial logs provided. Please read full instructions on the operation and safety of the hot tub which can be found in the house folder. Please do not use detergents or toiletries in the hot tub. Please supervise children at all times around the hot tub when the cover is off and be aware that the firebox will be hot when lit and the water can also get very hot without supervision.

Speed/service may vary depending on the package obtained by the owner which is provided to guests free of charge. Should guests experience difficulties or loss of use, neither the owner nor Rural Retreats will be held responsible.
