Step through the front door of Chapel Cottage into the cosy sitting room with exposed beams throughout where relaxation in front of the inglenook fireplace will be first on your list; and the ‘snug’ seating area providing a romantic setting to enjoy dinner. Filled with quirky features such as an old printers tray used to display unique curiosities; the re-purposed Champagne riddling rack doors and many other handmade features to discover throughout. The hand crafted elm staircase leads to a botanically inspired king-size bedroom, the perfect place for a fabulous night's sleep. The kitchen leads into the garden room which overlooks the delightful courtyard garden, complete with a small seating area where you can enjoy al-fresco dining or unwind with a glass of wine.
Nestled within the picturesque Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Uffculme is the perfect base for exploring the Devon countryside and coastlines. Chapel Cottage is a short walk from The Square, the centre of Uffculme. Uffculme is a warm and welcoming village with a pub and a small shop and cafe, ensuring everything you need is right on your doorstep.
