The East Wing of Kimberley Hall offers its guests a wonderful opportunity to experience life on this historic Capability Brown estate, from the comfort of a beautifully prepared apartment that extends across the entire ground floor width of the east wing. Built at the same time as the main Hall in 1712, it has its own private entrance, private walled garden and parking area at the top of the 800m long drive.
The accommodation is comprised of three Super-king sized bedrooms that, by prior arrangement, can also be made into adult twin beds. The bedrooms are well served by two bathrooms, one of which provides a bath with separate shower.
The stately drawing room provide a touch of luxury, with excellent views of the parkland to the front of Kimberley Hall. The well-equipped kitchen is a great spot to gather to plan the day ahead. Here you also will find the dining room table that provides comfortable seating for up to eight people.
Outside, when not roaming the Capability Brown parkland, you’ll be able to relax in your own private walled garden, complete with a fountain and summerhouse. Formerly an orangery and greenhouse designed by the famous 18th-century landscape architect Capability Brown, you can now enjoy this magical space while staying in The East Wing. The mature planting of old English Roses is especially wonderful. Please be aware this area is undergoing work until September 2022, a separate garden has been provided.
