Spring Cottage is an idyllic, cosy, holiday cottage situated in the heart of Painswick which is within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and secretly tucked away in a peaceful, private spot.
Modern and stylish yet with traditional charm, this luxury cottage has been lovingly refurbished and faces south with wonderful views. With a comfortable sitting room with gas effect fireplace, a well equipped kicthen with dining table with an additional gas effect stove. The cosy bedroom on the second floor has a 6' super king-size zip and link bed, original exposed beams and country views. Boasting two bathrooms, this property is full of luxury touches. The pretty Costwold garden is south facing so you can make the most of the evening sun.
Painswick is arguably one of the most attractive of the larger Cotswold wool villages and is the epitome of the perfect English village. Known as the 'Queen of the Cotswolds' and lying half-way along the Cotswold Way National Trail, and is made up of beautiful individual buildings built of mellow Cotswold stone from the local quarry. There is much to discover by just wandering around the quaint and narrow streets, such as the independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, cottage businesses, exhibitions and historical buildings, some dating back to the 15th Century. Walking in the area is quite outstanding, in every direction, through countless hidden valleys with streams, wooded hillsides and breath-taking views.
