Keepers Cottage, a former Victorian gamekeepers cottage in the rural hamlet of West Barsham, dates back to 1848. It has been tastefully renovated throughout and retains many original and characterful features, including a stunning beamed 27ft lounge. The property is surrounded by open countryside with an abundance of wildlife, and wonderful country walks can be enjoyed directly from the cottage.
Boasting four bedrooms (master en suite) and a spacious family bathroom, this “home from home” has an abundance of space. On the ground floor, there is a large open plan kitchen and dining area, with a large table providing ample seating for everyone. The stunning lounge, with patio doors and also a snooker table, is the perfect place for families to relax and spend quality time making wonderful memories.
This rural hideaway, approached via a no-through country lane, is the perfect location to unwind after discovering the delights that North Norfolk has to offer. The enclosed gardens, with large lawn, alfresco patio dining, and secure gated parking area (2/3 cars) are for the exclusive use of Keepers Cottage guests, making it safe and secure for all the family. Within easy reach of both Wells and Fakenham, it is convenient yet so tucked away you won't even hear traffic noise (well, perhaps the odd tractor).

The surrounding area is very rural and apart from the attached barn conversion, there are no other dwellings within ¼ mile of the property, making it a great place for bird watching, walking, cycling or just relaxing.
