Details
The Cart Lodge offers contemporary and charming accommodation for up to four people. In the most beautiful of settings, the grounds are a delight and you will have the opportunity to meet the owner's alpaca's, a treat for children and adults alike; there may even be the opportunity to walk and feed them! The living space is open-plan, with full height ceilings, exposed trusses and a large picture window at one end making the space feel light and airy. The underfloor heating ensures that you are cosy in the colder months and the tasteful furnishings and quality linens lend a feeling of luxury to the experience.
The Cart Lodge comfortably accommodates four guests. If you have a larger party you have the option of booking The Cart Lodge (6) which has a further en-suite bedroom. The Dairy, just across the courtyard from The Cart Lodge accommodates four The Dairy or six The Diary (6) guests, making it perfect for enabling groups of couples, multiple families and multi-generational holidays to enjoy a holiday together, while maintaining their privacy and independence.
The Peddars Walk pathway is close by and you can enjoy walks into Great Massingham (approx three quarters of a mile) where you will find one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages with two large central ponds and the popular Dabbling Duck gastro pub which the younger Royal's often frequent. The Cart Lodge and The Dairy are part of West Heath Barns and situated in grounds of 4.5 acres so there is plenty of tranquil rural space where you can spend time recharging your batteries and enjoying the peaceful setting!
Additional Information
Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Whilst dogs are very welcome at The Cart Lodge, they must be kept on a lead when in the courtyard directly in front of the cottage as it is shared with other guests.
