Muir of Ord 3 miles. Approached via a single track driveway after passing through wonderful farmland is the converted outbuilding, The Bothy. Housing two guests, this cottage is superb for a couple looking to explore the stunning glens throughout the ‘The Black Isle’ within a romantic setting. Open up the stable door to discover a wonderfully appointed dwelling, oozing a welcoming charm. Lounge around during a winter’s evening in front of the woodburning fire, where you and your loved one can curl up on the sofa to catch up on your favourite TV shows. Beyond here, you will find a well-appointed kitchen featuring all necessary appliances, including a washing machine. In here, you will also find a music system, where you can select your favourite CD to enjoy whilst taking in the charming countryside views, beaming through the patio doors. After a busy day exploring the idyllic Highlands, retire to the double bedroom promising a peaceful night’s sleep. To appreciate the views further, throw open the patio doors to enjoy a refreshing beverage within the patio area before stretching your legs upon the spacious lawn area. If you fancy an evening out, head into the village of Muir of Ord where you will find a selection of pubs and restaurants, in addition to a shop for picking up for holiday essentials. Whilst staying here, you can visit the fantastic Glen Ord Distillery Visitor Centre and sample the 12-year-old single malt whisky. Alternatively, you can take a leisurely stroll along the Beauly Firth, visit Beaufort Castle or simply explore the wonders of the beautiful scenery ‘The Black Isle’ houses. The Bothy is a superb destination you will want to return to year after year.
Muir of Ord is a small village, situated within the Scottish Highlands, lying to the west of Inverness and south of Dingwall. It houses a selection of pubs, cafes, small businesses, a golf course and shops. The nearby town of Beauly play host to a larger selection of shops, restaurants and boutiques. The surrounding area, known as the ‘The Black Isle’, houses stunning Scottish scenery.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
