Downstairs has a family shower room, as well as an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside has an enclosed gravelled area with furniture. Off-road parking is available for two cars. The Studio is an excellent base for a remote break to Dorset. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

The property has stunning views of the Dorset hills, right from your door. Internally, the property boasts an open-plan living space, with quality furnishings and access to your own private courtyard garden. Delight in this smart setup, with a well fitted country kitchen in which to relax in the evening and enjoy a delicious home-made meal with a glass of wine. The dining/sitting area has seating to use at your own leisure, where you can plan activities and days out for the duration of your trip. On the first floor is a well-presented spacious king-size bedroom, with pretty, French style bed, making it the ideal property for couples. The bedroom also offers a lovely Juliet balcony, showcasing those views right from your window. Here, you can relax and unwind during the evenings, and reminisce times gone by with your loved ones or enjoy catching up with your favourite shows. To the front of the cottage is a pretty, gravelled area, planted with tubs and with outside seating, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and simply take in the picture-perfect, countryside views. Whilst you're in the area, you can easily access a number of tourist attractions and the property’s rural location makes it the prime spot for some scenic walking and cycling. Visiting the town centre of Shaftesbury is a must, featuring Gold Hill, a steeply cobbled street and famous for its picturesque appearance and views overlooking the vale beyond. Shaftesbury Abbey, founded in 888 and once housing nuns, is now a museum and certainly worth a visit, bringing to life the town’s rich history. Longleat House and very popular Safari Park is within 45 mins drive as is the Jurassic coastline where fossils can be collected. The Larmer Tree Gardens with its expansive Victorian garden is also within a few miles of The Studio, boasting plenty of woodland, flowers and laurel hedges, making it a wonderful site to explore on your travels.The Studio provides an exceptional base for couples looking to escape to the countryside.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods.
