This cosy annexe is based in the delightful riverside village of Coltishall and is backed onto the Bure Valley Railway line. Perfectly located for exploring the superb Norfolk Broads and the East Coast of Norfolk, this annexe offers a lovely getaway for a couple or family looking to escape to the country. Look forward to unwinding in the sitting room after a day of rambling the Norfolk outdoors, with a sumptuous corner sofa to rest on, plus an electric fire and a Smart TV for all your entertainment options. The kitchen is equipped with all you could need for a self-catered stay, including the all-important dishwasher and washing machine. The bedrooms have been furnished in a refreshing colour tone and include a double and twin bedded, served by a shower room where you can enjoy a refreshing shower to start your day. Head outside and relax in the enclosed patio area while taking in the idyllic surroundings, with only the occasional passing train to disturb the peace and quiet, this is a narrow guage stream railway that only runs through the day. Coltishall is a small village but offers the essential amenities including a number of good pubs serving food, a village shop, a butcher’s and petrol station. Avid walkers can take advantage of the network of varied footpaths and walks in Horstead and the nearby Norfolk Broads, home to the 61 mile Weaver’s Way footpath which passes through a diverse landscape of woodland, mixed farmland and disused railway lines.
