This lovely two-bedroom detached holiday home is in a peaceful location, yet within easy walking distance to the centre of the busy market town of Keswick. The Haven is a superb base for exploring this beautiful part of the world from the door. It is ideal for a family or two couples. Walk into the entrance hall to find a comfortable lounge with fell views seen through a delightful, large bay window, plush leather sofas and attractive flame effect gas fire. Your modern kitchen with cream gloss units and your welcoming dining table are beautifully set in this bright triple aspect room. An enticing stable door leads out to the pleasant garden and patio. You will find two lovely bedrooms off the hallway: a one twin bedroom to the front of the property and a double bedroom to the rear. Both bedrooms are bright and comfortable. A modern family bathroom is nearby.A neutral decor has been used throughout the property, embellished with contemporary furniture and soft furnishings. There are fell views from most windows. Walk into Keswick to browse the specialist shops and to have a bite to eat, then visit the renowned Pencil Museum, home of the first pencil. Enjoy a lake cruise on beautiful Derwentwater and visit the twice weekly market in Keswick. For more challenging adventures walk up to lovely Catbells or Latrigg, Keswick’s own fell. You will have a choice of many more excellent walking trails from your doorstep.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
