Warkworth 2.4 miles. A spacious detached lodge situated in the grounds of the Eastfield Hall estate. The Shieling is located near the Northumberland coast. Just a stone's throw from the scenic seaside village of Warkworth, The Shieling is a great base for a holiday with family or friends, with a host of nearby attractions. An open-plan living space contains all you need for an excellent self-catered stay, with a fitted kitchen lining the length of the room, complete with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher among the appliances. Gather at the dining table for family meals and relax on the sofa to watch a film at the end the day. A small sun room sits at the front of the lodge, perfect for taking in the beautiful scenery and night skies. Head down the hall to a shared bathroom and three bedrooms, two twin rooms, one with its own TV, and a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Enjoy alfresco lunches out on the picnic table in the garden, with plenty of lawn space for children to run around. The nearby coastal village of Warkworth has plenty of local shops and pubs to visit, as well as its own piece of 12th century history in the form of Warkworth Castle and Hermitage, set on a hilltop over the River Croquet. Warkworth also has a lovely beach with a long stretch of sand as well as a golf club.
