Accommodation Details

Three bedrooms; Master bedroom with Double divan bed, Fitted wardrobe, cupboards and bedside cabinets, TV, En suite shower room with toilet, vanity unit and hand basin. Second bedroom with Full size twin beds, Fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet. Third bedroom with Full size bunk beds suitable for children only and a small wardrobe - Please note; this bedroom is very small. Family bathroom with a full size shower, vanity unit, toilet and shaving point. Open plan lounge and dining area with electric fire. Outdoor decking area with seating and hot tub. Woodside Lodge will now accept a maximum of Two dogs on forward bookings from 29/11/22.

Woodside Lodge is a beautifully presented holiday lodge in the Pony Meadow area of White Cross Bay. New refurbished for 2020, this lovely accommodation offers a quiet location backing onto a woodland area and is just a short stroll from the lake. Woodside Lodge is great for families with children sleeping up to six guests (Maximum four adults due to the size of the bunk room). Benefiting from a hot tub, this lodge is a real treat on an evening after a long day exploring the stunning national park. This bright and airy lodge offers a great open plan living area for all of the family to socialise and the double patio doors lead out onto the decking area with seating. Note: Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, gym, entertainment, bar and restaurant. In a glorious setting by the lake, White Cross Bay sits on the shores of Lake Windermere, with views all around to the spectacular fells. You’re also just two miles from Windermere village with shops, cafes and pubs, and three miles from Bowness boat landings, where the cruisers come in. Bowness is a cosmopolitan village with award-winning restaurants and pubs and quirky shops, a cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. Three miles in the other direction, head to Ambleside, another bustling town with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course, walks in every direction. This lodge allows two dogs however dogs are not allowed in the bar & restaurant on site, but there is limited outdoor seating where they are welcome. The Lake District is all about making special memories with your loved ones.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
