Within 2.2 miles there is a shop and within 0.6 miles, a pub. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is from 10am. Rivers Edge makes a wonderful escape to the Lake District.

Newby Bridge, a small settlement on the banks of the River Leven, is named after a five-arched stone bridge built in 1651. Between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge, the famed Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, operates. Visit the Lakeside Hotels for spectacular views of Windermere and the surrounding fells, or visit the Aquarium of the Lakes to learn about the history of the Lakes through organically designed habitats. Bowness-on-Windermere is a beautiful day trip, and the quaint village of Hawkshead still has the charm and character that endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
