Nestled on the banks of Bow Creek, Mallard Cottage is an idyllic base for both family and friends alike looking to experience a tranquil retreat to Devon. Stepping into the property, you’re invited into an open-plan living space, beautifully-presented with a light and airy décor, providing a welcoming and homely ambiance, enticing you to put your feet up as you nestle in on the sofa, letting the television do the entertaining. Continue through to the contemporary kitchen, amply-equipped with all the amenities necessary to prepare a heart-warming meal for the group, serving up around the dining table to indulge in your culinary delights as you enjoy some overdue quality time together. In the evening, head outside and take a seat on the terrace, soaking in the tranquil setting as you watch the sunset over the horizon across the calming water. When it’s time for bed, you’re spoilt for choice between the master room, housing a sumptuous king-size bed, a twin and a single, all featuring a neutral décor and providing storage space to house your belongings. In the morning, prepare for a new day with a leisurely soak in the family bathroom, or if you’d prefer, make use of the overhead shower for a quick morning rinse, and enjoy a moment of peace with a seat in the reading nook, soaking in the panoramic views across the river with a steaming cup of coffee.
