The Hen House is a gorgeous, detached single-storey cottage nestled in the village of Kiltarlity, Scotland. Home to one king-size bedroom in a studio-style layout, this property can sleep up to two guests. The interior of the cottage is complete with a bathroom and an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with a wood-fired hot tub and an outdoor seating area. The Hen House is the ultimate choice for a romantic retreat to Scotland. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Note: This property isn't suitable for wheelchair users and is on a working farm. Please note that due to a festival, the estate may be busier than usual from 18/7/22 to 10/8/22 The festival runs from 28/7/22 to 31/7/22. Please note bookings between 27/7/22 up to and including 1/8/22/22 will be charged subject to a cost of 7 nights but will have festival tickets included. Note: 20th July - 3rd of August there will be increased activity around the estate due to an upcoming local festival. The festival is from 27/07/2022 - 30/07/2022- Those that book during this period will receive 2 free festival tickets. All bookings from this period will be subject to the cost of a 7 night stay.

Resting in a tranquil position in the home farm at the centre of the beautiful Highland estate of Belladrum, The Hen House is an architecturally listed picture postcard holiday home providing a stunning backdrop for a couples getaway to Scotland. Leave your muddy wellies by the door as you step inside this miniature fairy-tale cottage, admiring the grandeur of the high white ceilings with original hen house roof as you pop on the kettle in the striking wood kitchen, complete with sleek electrical appliances. Delight in a delicious meal for two at the intimate dining table, crack open a bottle of bubbly and drink a toast to making many happy memories in this unique escape. Continue the evening out in the private garden as you indulge in a dip in the hot tub, gazing at the night's stars whilst appreciating quality time with your significant other; then grab your towels and head back inside to the warmth of the cottage, where you can snuggle up in the breath-taking four-poster bed and watch a movie on TV. Kick start your days with a rejuvenating rise in the chic bathroom, a wonderful place to prepare for the day that lies ahead. Set out on a scenic stroll around Belladrum Estate or along the nearby River Beauly, with views of Beaufort Castle, and Aigas Gorge. In the pretty local village of Beauly you can enjoy a cup of coffee at a café and do some high class shopping at the famous Campbell’s Tweed House. Spend the day down at Loch Ness and discover the Loch Ness Monster Centre & Exhibition, Urquhart Castle and the Falls of Divach. Hop in the car and head for the city of Inverness where a grand 18th century castle, Inverness Museum and Art Gallery and the Inverness Botanic Gardens await you, as well as plenty of popular stores, pubs and restaurants to suit your needs.
