Caernarfon (Gwynedd county town) is a historic and culturally significant town in North Wales. With its spectacular 13th-century castle, well-preserved town walls, and lovely lake front, it is a popular tourist destination. There are guided tours of the castle available during the season, as well as unique events such as historical pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which runs through stunning terrain, via Beddgelert hamlet, and on to Porthmadog. Fishing cruises are possible from the harbour, and Segontium, a Roman fort and museum with many interesting artefacts, is within walking distance of the town centre. Caernarfon has a diverse range of stores and restaurants, and it is conveniently located near the beautiful beaches of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as the mountains and rivers of Snowdonia, including the renowned climbing town of Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
