With the advantage of private parking for more than one car, Harewood is set over three floors and sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms with two bathrooms. Enter the property to discover a bright sitting room with plush sofas surrounding a large stone fireplace with woodburning stove – a perfect spot to sit on chilly evenings and warm up in front of the fire. The colourful kitchen is well-designed with everything you might need to create amazing meals during your stay. The large conservatory is a wonderful sun trap and is an ideal place to eat your evening meal or rest in the armchairs with a good book and a glass of wine. There are two bedrooms on the first-floor: a double with views across the harbour to Lobber Point and a twin room, as well as a family bathroom. Continue up the stairs to find the spectacular master bedroom and dressing/sitting area, which has lots of character from the exposed wooden ceiling beams. Open the conservatory doors and follow the steps up to a raised terraced area, where you can enjoy a nice meal in the sunshine, and an enclosed lawned garden – perfect for the family dog! A short stroll through the village will take down narrow streets lined with shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. The harbour at Port Isaac offers a safe rock-pooling and paddling beach for youngsters, but stronger swimmers may want to head next door to Port Gaverne for swimming or coasteering. Further down the coast at Polzeath Beach and Fistral Beach you will find some of the best surfing conditions in the UK and plenty of companies who provide lessons and all the necessary equipment. Explore everything that North Cornwall has to offer from your base at Harewood.
