Boasting ground-floor accommodation, Y Felin (The Granary) is the perfect setting for a couple's romantic getaway. After parking in the designated parking spot, head inside the charming abode to find an open-plan living space that showcases exposed beams, giving it a rustic feel along with underfloor heating to make you feel at home. Snuggle up with your partner on the sofa as you relish a glass of wine, before wandering over to the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up a delicious meal. This will be a breeze, thanks to the array of integrated appliances available! Enjoy dinner together at the breakfast bar, or outside as an alfresco meal, as you soak up the idyllic vista. When night falls, head to the king-size bedroom, where you can enjoy a rejuvenating rinse in the en-suite shower room. In the morning, throw any old clothes into the shared utility's washing machine, before heading out for a day of adventures. Why not head to the royal town of Caernarfon for the day and visit the most famous castle in Wales. Caernarfon Castle, built in the 13th century by Edward I as a royal palace and military fortress, was at the core of the medieval walled town. Other attractions include Welsh Highland Railway (which runs for 25 miles to Porthmadog), Segontium Roman Fort and the scenic Lôn Eifion recreational cycle route. Waterside Doc Fictoria is home to Galeri (a contemporary arts complex with theatre and cinema). When you've had enough of sightseeing enjoy a meal and a refreshing drink at one of the many restaurants or cafes like The Wal Restaurant or The Old Courthouse. There are also numerous walking opportunities in the area and a short car ride will take you to Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon, where you can walk around Llyn Padarn Lake or take one of the six classic routes up to the summit of Snowdon itself if you're feeling more energetic.
