Location Details

Wooler is a charming, mediaeval market town nestled in the foothills of the Cheviots, which form part of the Pennine Way, on the banks of the River Till, one of the Tweed's tributaries. Wooler, dubbed "The Gateway to the Cheviots" by locals, features a variety of hotels and restaurants, as well as a fantastic position for visiting Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Wooler is a short drive from the historic town of Alnwick, with its famed Castle and Gardens, and the well-preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, both of which are located on the fringe of the Northumberland National Park.
