Two small well-behaved dogs, or one large dog are welcome, but please note, smoking is not allowed. Newborough (Welsh: Niwbwrch) is a small village in Anglesey's south-west corner. Nearby is Llanddwyn Bay, one of Britain's best beaches for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing, birdwatching, or relaxing. Behind the beach, the 1500-acre Newborough Warren sand dune system is home to skylarks, meadow pipits, oyster catchers, toads, and lizards. Tan y Foel horse riding centre is 3 miles from the village centre. Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, and Anglesey Sea Salt make fun family day trips. Anglesey's racetrack is in nearby Aberffraw.
