Set over three floors, the cottage has six bedrooms: a second-floor king-size, a ground-floor double with basin, two doubles with basin, and a ground-floor twin with basin. Two bathrooms include a ground-floor wet room with sauna and a family bathroom, alongside two cloakrooms with basin and WC. There is also a kitchen/diner, utility, first-floor sitting room with woodburning stove. Heating is oil powered and amenities include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. For entertainment there is a TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, with a highchair, travel cot and stairgate available on request. A private driveaway offers space for two cars, as well as off-road parking. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with lawn and gravelled area, and a rear garden with raised patio, gravelled area and furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop and pub are 1.9 miles away. Please note that the king-size bedroom is an attic room with sloped ceilings and restricted height. The Old Chapel is a wonderful abode to call home whilst you explore the Cornish coast.

Note: The second floor bedroom is an attic room with sloped ceilings and is access by a spiral staircase, not suitable for anyone under the age of 8 years, please take care. Please note: For bookings commencing on a Monday, the check-in time is 3pm. For bookings commencing on a Friday or Saturday, the check-in time cannot be earlier than 5pm. Note: This property does not permit EV charging. Note: The property has the option to receive broadband through CAT6 ethernet connection which you can use by bringing an ethernet cable to the property. Note: For guests who consider themselves to be electrically sensitive, there are geopathic stress units that serve the 1st floor sleeping area. Note: There is a whole house water filter that removes a high percentage of contaminants, including flouride.

Location Details

Set on the River Beeble, this charming village is in an ideal location for exploring the adjacent coastal cities and villages. The community contains a pub, shop, Post Office, and a popular fish and chips restaurant. St Ives harbour, which has its own tiny fishing fleet, is close by, and there are plenty of boat tours provided by locals eager to show off the finest of Cornwall, whether it's seal watching at Seal Island, mackerel fishing for a couple of hours, or a quiet cruise.
