Located in north-west Purbeck District, Bere Regis is close to the towns of Moreton and Bovington, as well as the cities of Dorchester and Poole. Athelhampton House is just a short drive from Puddletown, on the outskirts of the town. Between May and September, visitors can take a tour of St. John the Baptist Church, which dates back more than a millennium. Villages such as Briantspuddle, Affpuddle, and Turnerspuddle, which are both peaceful and beautiful, may be found in the immediate area.
