The village of Nether Stowey is located in Somerset County, close to the Quantock Hills, an AONB. The older part of the hamlet, which is in a conservation area, has a rich history and a variety of architectural styles, with the oldest structures dating back almost to the Middle Ages and having recently undergone thorough restoration.
