Location Details
Bridport is a charming market town that grew up around the River Brit and was shaped by its long history of rope and net manufacturing. The flax threads were formerly twisted into rope on the long, broad streets and passageways between the buildings, but today same streets are filled with a fascinating array of businesses, restaurants, and inns. The market in Bridport is frequently featured in the River Cottage television show. The stunning Jurassic coast at West Bay, now a World Heritage Site, lies 2 miles south of Bridport and serves as the backdrop for TV's Harbour Lights and the seaside setting for popular Broadchurch, while Lyme Regis is only 10 miles away. A fantastic location for exploring West Dorset.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
