The lovely community of Dyffryn Ardudwy is peacefully nestled between the Rhinogs, a section of the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdonia) Mountains, and the gorgeous golden beaches of North Wales. A wide variety of fauna and birds, including flying buzzards, can be found in the surrounding area. Harlech, a little village about 4 miles away, is dominated by its grand 13th century castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most impressive of Edward I's strongholds in North Wales. Harlech is well-known among golfers for its famous Royal St. David's course, but it also offers a wide range of services, including some outstanding restaurants.
