Newborough, or Niwbwrch as it is spelled in Welsh, is a small village in the southwestern corner of Anglesey. Llanddwyn Bay is conveniently located nearby and is widely considered to be one of the best beaches in all of Britain. Skylarks, meadow pipits, oyster catchers, toads, lizards, and other amphibians and reptiles call the 1500-acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren home. Within a short drive, you can reach the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, and the Anglesey Sea Salt, all of which are great options for a family outing. The Anglesey Racecourse is located in nearby Aberffraw, promising a thrilling day out.
