Glasbury, also known as Glasbury-on-Wye, is a charming village in Powys, Wales. The village is located close outside the Brecon Beacons National Park, north of the Black Mountains, at a major crossing place on the River Wye, which connects the medieval counties of Brecknockshire and Radnorshire. Within the village there is an 18th-century pub, The Harp Inn, along with a service station providing the essentials. The nearby ancient market town of Hay-on-Wye is well worth a visit, renowned for its famous Hay Festival of Literature, the town is a popular destination for booklovers and holidaymakers wishing to enjoy the leisure activities and the charming scenery of the Wye Valley.
