Location Details
Located beside the River Doonbeg and only six miles from the coastal, heritage town of Kilrush, the village of Cooraclare is quintessentially West Clare: calm and quiet. Cooraclare is a small town with a restaurant, two stores, and three pubs, all of which feature traditional Irish music and are within an hour's drive from Shannon Airport. Local attractions include the Shannon Estuary for dolphin viewing, the Kilrush Creek Adventure Centre for sailing and power-boating, and the Kilrush Golf & Sports Club for golf. Also nearby are the Vandeleur Walled Garden in Kilrush and the beautiful beaches of Kilkee and Miltown Malbay. The ideal base from which to discover Ireland's countryside.
