Location Details

North Wales places a great deal of historical and cultural significance on Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd). With its magnificent castle from the 13th century, well-preserved town walls, and charming waterfront, it is a well-liked tourist destination. There are unique activities, such as historical pageants, and guided castle tours during the season. Additionally, there is a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which travels through stunning terrain before arriving at Porthmadog and the settlement of Beddgelert. Fishing excursions are offered from the harbour, and Segontium, a Roman fort and museum housing many significant artefacts, is another attraction that can be reached on foot from the town centre.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
