Tadcaster, an historic market town is the perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors National Parks. Picturesquel hikes along the River Wharfe are available for outdoor enthusiasts, in addition to cycling, climbing, fishing, boating, golfing, and simply relaxing while taking in the serene ambiance and breath-taking surroundings. The famous beers made in the three breweries located here are made with the high quality Tadcaster water, which is consumed all over the world. One of the oldest breweries in the UK, John Smith's, was established in 1758 and offers frequent and well-liked tours through the facility.
