The famed Bronte sisters, who lived in the little village of Haworth, were inspired to write their works of English literature, which have since become classics, by the surrounding moorland. Haworth is a community that time almost forgot, with a plethora of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways, and cobblestone streets providing a lovely period ambiance, all set against a framing backdrop of famously characterised as wild, rough, and bleak in the novel Wuthering Heights landscape. The famed Keighley and Worth Valley train, an actual steam train made famous by the movie The Railway Children, is close by and offers a charming day trip with a regular service to the historic village of Oxenhope. The Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York are just a few of the well-known attractions in the area. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
