Belford is a beautiful village in Northumberland, situated in Heritage countryside between the two popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. It's not far to the picturesque fishing village of Bamburgh, known for its expansive beaches and imposing castle. The village of Belford itself is a quaint example of a former coaching stop, complete with a charming square and a wide selection of businesses catering to different tastes. Location-wise, it's perfect for seeing the sights of the Scottish Borders, the Cheviot Mountains, and the world-famous Northumberland Coast. Boat tours depart daily from Seahouses, so you can easily see the famed Farne Islands and its bird sanctuary or seal colony. You could even see the famous Lindisfarne Priory on Holy Island if you time your crossing there correctly.
