The Welsh town of Crickhowell is located in the county of Powys. Crug Hywel, an ancient hill fort, provided the inspiration for the town's name. The magnificent Crickhowell Castle, also called Alisby's Castle, dates back to the 12th century and offers breath-taking views of the Usk valley.
