Outside, there is a private front patio, and access to the estates grounds including woodland walks. Fishing and tours of the hall can be offered by prior arrangement with the owners. Bellingham is the unofficial capital of the North Tyne Valley and is supposed to be built on the site of an old Roman station. It is extremely picturesque, comprising of a number of natural stone houses and there is much to see in the village itself, such as its 12th century church, the Heritage Centre and a cascading waterfall, which is just a short walk away. Nearby, other attractions include the Northumberland National Park, Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Forest and Water. There are plenty of walks to be had in the region, as well as a host of outdoor activities, such as horse-riding, fishing and canoeing.
