The cottage has two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a ground floor bathroom, a first floor basin and WC, a fitted kitchen, a sitting room with dining area and a woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, bike storage and an enclosed, lawned garden, with patio, furniture and barbecue. Halfen Granary is a wonderful base for a fun-filled holiday exploring Wales.

It is set in a lovely rural location on the slopes of the beautiful Vyrnwy Valley, 2.2 miles from the village of Llanfihangel-yng-Ngwynfa and close to the 6,000-acre Dyfnant Forest. This Llanfyllin holiday cottage provides comfortable, traditional accommodation; ideal for families or couples who wish to be in a beautiful countryside location, perfect for walking, cycling and birdwatching and just eight miles from the renowned beauty spot of Lake Vyrnwy. Overlooking the scenic Vyrnwy Valley and surrounded by rolling countryside and forestry, this Llanfyllin cottage has a cosy sitting room with a dining area and a woodburner; perfect for curling up in front of with a good book or for warming up after a bracing walk in this beautiful area. For even more relaxation, the whirlpool bath is wonderful for unwinding in after a fun-filled day out exploring the area. There are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities in the local area, including trails through the Berwyn Mountains and the hills of Llangynog. Lake Vyrnwy is also close by and boasts an inspiring mountain backdrop of glorious colours as well as a fascinating nature reserve. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
