The Stables, Bellingham
As its name suggests, The Stables was originally used to house horses, but has been tastefully converted to provide an idyllic retreat for a large family or group of friends. The property has its own wood-burning stove, so you can make the most of what the region has to offer, even in the colder months. For the summer, visitors can use the owner's tennis court or indulge in a spot of alfresco dining in the private patio area at the rear of the property.

Accommodation Details
Three large bedrooms: 1 x double, 2 x twin, all with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen with breakfast area. Spacious sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove.
Bellingham 2 miles. A fabulous stone-built stable conversion adjoining the owner's stables, situated in a rural location just two miles from Bellingham. Enjoying fabulous views over wide open pasture and the North Tyne River, The Stables offers accommodation of an excellent standard, with en-suite rooms and a lovely woodburning stove in the sitting room. Visitors can take advantage of on-site fishing by arrangement with the owner. Kielder Water is just 10 miles away, whilst Alnwick and the Heritage Coast are also within driving distance. An ideal retreat for a wonderful break.
Bellingham is surrounded by the Northumberland National Park, is part of the Pennine Way and is near to Kielder Water, all of which makes it a walkers' paradise and a well-located base from which to see the rest of the region. Bellingham is the unofficial capital of the North Tyne Valley and is supposed to be built on the site of an old Roman station. It is extremely picturesque, comprising of a number of natural stone houses and there is much to see in the village itself, such as its 12th century church, the Heritage Centre and a cascading waterfall, which is just a short walk away. Nearby, other attractions include the Northumberland National Park, Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Forest and Water. There are plenty of walks to be had in the region, as well as a host of outdoor activities, such as horse-riding, fishing and canoeing.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
