Outside this Longnor cottage is a large garden with decking and furniture, the ideal area to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere after a day spent exploring, or grab your binoculars and try a little wildlife watching. The quaint, cobbled village of Longnor is just two miles from your Peak District cottage, offering an array of shops and traditional pubs, whilst a little further is the pretty village of Hartington, complete with a charming duck pond, a traditional cheese shop and other interesting shops and inns. The Manifold Valley and Tissington Trail offer beautiful scenery for those looking for walking and cycling trails, and the spa town of Buxton, the lovely market town of Bakewell, plus Alton Towers are also all within easy reach. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Spa town of Buxton are all within easy driving distance, as is the attractive market town of Bakewell and the ever popular Alton Towers theme park.
