Violet Lodge is a detached ground floor log cabin set in the grounds of a hall on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The cabin sleeps two people in one double bedroom with a wet room and an open plan living area incorporating a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking, a private patio and use of fifty acres of grounds. Just a short walk from the beach and close to the North York Moors, Violet Lodge is a superb holiday home. Please Note - The owner only accepts a minimum of a 3 night stay.

Bike storage. Private patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 10 mins walk. 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. Note: Due to the peacocks and wildlife, please ensure dogs are kept on a lead and children are supervised. Please note a second dog can potentially be agreed if confirmed with Sykes and the Owner first. Please call the office before booking if you require a second dog. Please note , Rushpool Hall is a private residence and not open to the public. Please Note - The owner only accepts a minimum of a 3 night stay. Electric vehicles must not be charged up via the Lodge sockets, there is a charging station located less than 1/2 mile away. Please note: As of 14-09-2022 we will no longer be able to accept a Sunday check in day, any booking that is booked after this date that checks in on a Sunday will be subject to cancellation. Please note: This property does not allow for any booking to be made 72 hours prior to arrival, any booking that is booked after this date that checks in on a Sunday will be subject to cancellation.
Location Details
Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a Victorian seaside resort on the North Yorkshire coast. It is famous for it's cliff railway and its pier and is a good base for discovering the coast and the moors.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
