There is roadside parking outside the property and to the rear, a large private patio with furniture. Holly Hoose is a great base for friends and families to stay while exploring the north east coast of Scotland. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome.

This smart, detached stone cottage is ideally situated close to a pretty harbour and sandy beach, in the village of Findochty on the fabulous north east coast of Scotland. This spacious fisherman's cottage is perfect for a family group, or group of friends, who will appreciate the space within the property, which benefits from two comfortable sitting rooms, one of which has a welcoming open fire. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to prepare tasty home-cooked meals that can be enjoyed in the formal dining room next door. On the upper floor, the generously proportioned bedrooms ensure a comfortable night’s sleep for all and at the rear of the cottage is a large and fully enclosed patio area which is a real sun trap and a perfect place to enjoy a barbecue or pre-dinner glass of wine. A short stroll from the cottage takes you down to the pretty harbour, with its colourful array of yachts and a small sandy beach that will be much appreciated by children. Close by you can enjoy a tasty bite to eat at the Admirals Inn, whilst gazing out to sea and admiring a wonderful sunset. The north east coastline has plenty of pretty fishing villages to explore and is home to bottlenose dolphins, which can easily be spotted along with a multitude of other wildlife. There are also some great golf courses nearby and fabulous walks which allow you to fully appreciation the unspoilt beauty of this area. This cottage will ensure an unforgettable holiday for everyone.
