At this Wigton cottage, there are two ground floor bedrooms and a sitting room with a feature stone wall on the first floor. The accommodation also includes a family shower room and a fitted kitchen with a dining area. Outside this Wigton cottage is a front patio area with ample space for children to play in safety. Set just to the north of the Lake District National Park, this cottage near Wigton offers easy access to the Lake District fells and the bustling town of Keswick. Located in beautiful countryside, there are wonderful walks and bike rides through the fells and forests, and Whinlatter Forest Park has an exciting Go Ape adventure course, whilst for a more peaceful day you can head over to Derwentwater through Borrowdale, perfect for a peaceful picnic along the lake shore. Whatever you end up doing, you can return to your lovely Wigton cottage for a relaxing evening and to plan another day's exciting adventures!

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
