The cosy beamed sitting room at this Ashendon cottage offers a warming open fire and door to the rear garden, while the kitchen houses an AGA, making this cosy room the heart of the house. Linger over a home-cooked breakfast in the dining area, as you take in the views of the surrounding countryside, or sit outside with a coffee and the paper, and relax in the large garden, complete with furniture, BBQ and many fruit trees. The village of Ashendon, just a 10 minute walk away has a traditional pub serving excellent food and real ale, whilst the village of Cuddington has a shop, pub and Post Office set around the village green. The ancient market town of Aylesbury is steeped in history, boasting a cobbled square and The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, whilst a little further afield the Chilterns offer many lovely walks and cycle routes. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
