With three double bedrooms and a family shower room, this cottage is suitable for six people. Also within the cottage is an openplan living area comprising, a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with French doors to the patio. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for three cars and a patio and gravelled area to the rear with garden furniture and a BBQ. With its neighbouring cottage, Cahirkeen Cottage can sleep up to thirteen people and is perfect for a large family gathering or for a group of friends wishing to discover this stunning part of Ireland. Electricity charged via meter reading. Note: This property has a spiral staircase and limited head room on the landing, which may be unsuitable for the less mobile.

Location Details
The village of Allihies in County Cork sits on the Western tip of the Beara peninsula, in a region of unspoiled natural beauty. The village lies on The Ring of Beara, a tourist trail of about 195 kilometres (121 miles) circumnavigating the peninsula. Attractions nearby include Dursey Island, which is linked to the mainland by a Cable Car and is the only such ride in Europe to cross over water. The island is also a recognised Bird Sanctuary, with numerous species, rare and otherwise, seen regularly.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
