Trawsfynydd 3 miles. A semi-detached holiday cottage, originally part of the adjoining 1825-built Independent chapel, on the outskirts of Bronaber village, 3 miles from Trawsfynydd. This Trawsfynydd cottage has been successfully renovated to provide high quality accommodation which combines original features with contemporary decor and furnishings. This is a perfect Trawsfynydd cottage for a family holiday or romantic break, with a woodburner in the sitting room and some wonderful mountain views. There are a pleasant garden ideal for dining alfresco and paths and trails from the cottage to the surrounding Rhinog Mountains. On the doorstep of this cottage near Trawsfynydd is the renowned Coed-y-Brenin Forest with its famous mountain biking trails. Enjoy beautiful hill and mountain scenery, fishing in Traws Lake and the beautiful beaches at Porthmadog, Harlech and Barmouth. A splendid Trawsfynydd cottage, whatever the time of year.

The impressive local lake is renowned for its excellent fishing and is only a short distance from the village itself. With a pub and a small variety of shops, Trawsfynydd provides all essential amenities as well as outstanding outdoor activities including excellent water sports, climbing, walking, fishing, golf and mountain biking. Close by are a number of beautiful beaches including Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth whilst the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog are also withing easy driving distance. Also worth visiting in the area are the many castles, narrow gaugerailways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate village.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
