Glan y Gors is a semi-detached, stone built cottage, situated in an elevated position in the village of Dinorwig, five miles from Llanberis in North Wales. This cottage sleeps up to twelve people and has four bedrooms, consisting of two twin rooms, one of which is on the ground floor, and two family rooms with a double and single bed, one of which has a four poster bed, as well as a ground floor family shower room with a walk/wheel-in shower, plus two first floor family bathrooms. The cottage also has a large and well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a large sitting room with woodburning stove and large bed settee. Outside, this cottage has ample off road parking and an enclosed terraced garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Glan y Gors is a wonderful family holiday home, close to many places of interest.

Accommodation Details

Four bedrooms: 2 x twin (one on ground floor), 2 x family rooms with double and single bed (one with four poster). Ground floor shower room with walk/wheel-in shower, basin and raised WC with grab rails. Two first floor bathrooms with bath with shower over, basin and WC (one with whirlpool bath). Due to the new Government legislation regarding the Rule of 6 the prices for this property have been reduced in order to accommodate smaller groups of up to 6. Large, well equipped fitted kitchen with dining area. Large, comfortable sitting room with woodburning stove and large bed settee.

Llanberis 5 miles. A traditional, stone-built semi-detached cottage, situated in a peaceful and elevated position in the scattered village of Dinorwic, on a mountain opposite Snowdon. Spacious and well equipped, the cottage is ideal for large parties with a roomy kitchen/diner and three bathrooms. There are ground floor facilities and widened doors which are suitable for less able guests and wheelchair users - please phone for further information. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and includes an inglenook fireplace in the sitting room with cosy woodburning stove. There is an attractive, enclosed terraced garden, withgarden furniture and BBQ - perfect for a relaxed family break. Pretty Llanberis with its scenic pass and excellent walking is 5 miles away by car (2 miles on foot), and Anglesey, with its many sandy beaches, is only half an hour's drive. An excellent retreat at any time of the year.

Many walkers and climbers are drawn by the challenge of Snowdon, but it is also possible to experience the views from the summit by taking the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Llanberis is located in the Snowdonia National Park and offers other attractions for those interested in unspoilt scenery, abundant wildlife and the variety of activities offered by the great outdoors. For a more relaxed approach, Llanberis is well-served by restaurants, pubs and shops and there are a number of tourist attractions within a short drive, such as Caernarfon Castle and National trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
