Over first and second floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x first floor king-size double, 1 x first floor double. Second floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor kitchen. First floor sitting room with dining area and electric fire.

A delightful first and second floor apartment in an enviable position on the outskirts of the popular and picturesque village of Staveley in the beautiful Lake District National Park. Well-furnished throughout, the apartment is perfectly placed to explore the surrounding towns and villages with an abundance of low level walks directly from the door. There are two double bedrooms, a family bathroom and a modern kitchen with a Juliet balcony that looks out over the mill race and beyond to the Kentmere valley and fells. The cosy sitting area has a high ceiling with exposed beams and an electric fire. Staveley village boasts a well-stocked shop, a newsagent and Post Office, local butcher, chemist and a pub serving excellent food. Explore the local town of Kendal with its independent retailers, restaurants and bars as well as a selection of museums and Kendal Arts Centre which offers a cinema and various live performances. The popular towns of Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick are all easily accessible by car or bus, or you can enjoy a gentle stroll along the River Kent to the Mill Yard, whilst the more energetic can pack a picnic and head for the Kentmere Horseshoe circular walk. There really is something for everyone to enjoy at this beautiful Lake District holiday home.

Iron Age farmers settled first and were followed by the English and Scandinavians and evidence of these early civilizations can be found throughout the region. The village has an excellent range of amenities including a variety of shops, two pubs, craft shops and a railway station. Nearby, Windermere and Ambleside offer a number of attractions such as boat trips on Lake Windemere and a ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
