A quaint former coach house, tucked down a quiet lane in the pretty South Gloucestershire village of Bitton, surrounded by lovely countryside and a short drive or bus journey from the fabulous historic cities of Bath or Bristol. This detached cottage is a perfect base for couples looking for a place to relax after exploring beautiful rolling countryside and historic towns and villages. Set over two floors, the cottage offers one attic double bedroom, while the bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a well-equipped kitchen with dining area downstairs, along with a light, airy and spacious sitting room with comfy seating and patio doors to the shared courtyard. Outside, you can sit on the small cobbled patio area, which is a real suntrap, on the edge of the courtyard, perfect to enjoy an early morning cup of tea, before taking a stroll down the adjacent lane past the pretty traditional church. Bitton is situated on the edge of the southern tip of The Cotswolds AONB. The whole area is steeped in great days out, being close to Bath and Bristol, and also the stunning Mendip Hills. You are ideally placed to explore the beautiful romantic city of Bath, seven miles away, with its Georgian architecture and healing springs in the Roman Baths. Why not enjoy a picnic in front of the sweeping Royal Crescent, relax in the rooftop Thermae Bath Spa, enjoy a fantastic selection of eateries, or perhaps sample the renowned Bath Bun?
