First floor family bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin. Ground floor cloakroom. Kitchen with dining area. First floor sitting room with electric fire.

Lock View is a modern, spacious three-storey house in the pretty village of Gargrave, situated opposite the canal. Ideally located on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and just a short drive from local attractions, this property is an ideal base for families and friends. On the ground floor of the property guests are greeted by a hallway, from which you can access the kitchen and dining room, featuring traditional stone floors and french doors leading outside to the patio area. On warmer evenings you can enjoy dining alfresco on the patio area as the sun goes down, or sip a refreshing drink whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Situated on the first floor, guests can spend time together in the comfortable sitting room, admiring the far reaching views from the balcony, or on cooler evenings warm up by the electric fire. The family bathroom and a king-size double with en-suite facilities are also located on the first floor. Further upstairs on the second floor are two further bedrooms, a delightful twin room with en-suite facilities and a walk in wardrobe as well as a well-appointed master bedroom featuring a freestanding bath and a balcony overlooking the canal and Eshton Hall. Located on the banks of the River Aire, Gargrave has much to offer visitors including a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. 50 metres from the cottage, customers are able to use the Craven Lawn Tennis Club with four grass and three new all-weather courts which are playable all year round. Weekly memberships are available upon application in advance, please contact the owner for details. The ancient market town of Skipton is just four miles away, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is just a short drive away, perfect for walkers and cyclists.

Travel cot and highchair available on request. Fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. off road parking for 2. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Enclosed patio area with hot tub and furniture. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. No stag/hen or similar. Note: Out of respect for neighbors this property is not suitable for loud/late night parties. Note: The hot tub is for use between the hours of 8am and 8pm, after which time it will automatically turn off. This is to show consideration to the neighbours and maintain the peaceful surroundings. This property accepts bookings from Friday-Tuesday only If you wish to book Xmas and NY 2023/2024 this will need to be a weekly booking from the 22nd/29th December only. The owner cant accept short breaks during these times
